A Seminar on Modeling Disasters in the Urban Environment was held on Feb 27th, 2019 at IRIDeS. This followed a DIM2SEA project meeting on Feb 26th. Later, DIM2SEA team members visited the affected areas from 3/2011 tsunami.

On 30/5/18, a delegation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan visited the Israeli research team in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Over the first week of February a progres meeting and scientific workshop were held at the Hebrew University Mt Scopus campus, Jerusalem. The program progress meeting included future planning and some touring of Jerusalem.
